Assistive technology helps people to maximise their independence and their ability to manage everyday tasks whether in the home, workplace, or out in the community. The ILC’s goal is to ensure that people choose the most appropriate assistive technology to meet their needs. An Occupational Therapist can provide advice and information about disability aids, equipment, design and access (appointment needed).
